I purchased a pair of shoes just like these for a wedding a couple of years ago. They were very expensive and they were not very comfortable after a while. So, I have rarely wore them again, even though there were times that I wish I could have.I decided to give these a try, and I'm glad I did. These shoes look very nice. They come well packaged with covers for each shoe. They fit great - true to size. They do have a roomy toe area, which makes them far more comfortable than the previous pair I purchased. Walking in them feels good. The arch support is not bad for a shoe like this. I have not had the opportunity to wear these for a long time in a single stretch, but I can already tell that they will be more comfortable than other shoes of this style.The sole of the shoe has a fairly aggressive tread, which is unusual for a dress shoe. Usually the bottom is smooth. This may be a giveaway that this is not a "high-end" shoe, but frankly I do not care. Using dress shoes in the Utah winters is usually a treacherous endeavor, but this should help keep me from slipping and falling.For the price, this is really a great shoe. It looks good, fits well and is comfortable. Time will tell how well these hold up, but so far I am impressed with this shoe.
