Alright, it cracks me up how many reviews are calling this shelf cheap ?? LIKE.. HELLO.. IT IS CHEAP!!!! You get what you pay for. For the price, I think It’s great and does the job. For those of you saying it wasn’t sturdy, maybe you need to make sure every piece is fully pushed in and tight. Cause mine is pretty sturdy and it’s sitting on carpet.For those of you saying it’s missing pieces, you might have just put a piece where it doesn’t go. I made that mistake and thought I was missing pieces too then I see where I had went wrong and fixed it.Yes I can agree that it was very annoying and tedious to set up. And you really gotta use some muscle to shove some of those pieces in. I also agree that the instructions aren’t very explanatory at all. But you figure it out and just get it done lol. Have someone help you, my husband came and helped me after a bit and we got done much quicker. You get the hang of it after a while.I ended up using some pieces from another shoe shelf I had to make the extra top row with the extra fabric it comes with. Some how fit pretty well lol.Only thing I wish it came with some more pieces for the option of making extra shelves. I have 2 or 3 extra pieces of the fabric I wish I could be using but didn’t have any more of the pieces to put them together.Another thing, if you are like me and wear really high heels, you kinda have to shove those baby’s in there. My 7 inches don’t fit LOL!!! But it did have the tallest shelves out of the others I saw on Amazon so I did make it work for most of shoes.This is only temporary for me until my next house, so if you need a temporary and CHEAP shoe display then I would definitely recommend. My favorite part about it is how you can sorta design it how you want. That was important to me, because I wasn’t sure how well it fit in my closet so if I needed to I could have constructed it a different way.It definitely takes some patience to put this together, but after you do get it built it's nice sturdy and it does the job very wellI wanted to remodel my small closet to allow for more storage, and this seemed perfect. I received the rack on the day it was suppose to be delivered, and the packaging was in good shape, no damage. There are so many pieces to this rack, so it took me a few minutes to figure out how to assemble it because the directions where hard to decipher from the pictures which corner piece to use, there where 4 different sizes. But once I got the 1st and 2nd tier put together, it went pretty quickly from there since each level is constructed the same as the last. Once assembled it is very sturdy and even much bigger then I thought, which was a good thing. My hubs was even jealous, and I am ordering one for his closet. Good product, would recommend. 4 stars for poor instructions***UPDATED** If you want to spend time repeatedly putting this back together and cussing in frustration, then THIS is the shoe rack for you!! This thing, and I use thing generously, is a complete P.I.T.A! Falls apart if you look at it and I don’t even have nearly the amount of recommended shoes on it. It looks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Save yourself the headache and just DON’T!! Disassembled and returned!!This shoe rack is spacious and I was able to get all of my shoes onto it. But it was such a hassle to assemble that I almost returned it! The instructions are useless. The pictures of the “joints” to hold the poles together look alike so it was hard for me to differentiate the right pieces. Fed up, I eyeballed it. It sways back and forth but I rigged a strap on the wall to minimize it. It’s okay for the price but I’ll be considering something else next timeAs stated the drawings aren't clear and after trial and error I got in a rhythm and it went much faster. However when inventorying the pieces on all the different diagrams provided the number of pieces didnt match....tons of extras but I pushed forward thinking I just couldn't count that day. After assembling and counting the number of shelves in the pic on the box, diagram and on amazon it was assembeled correctly and as expected a ton of leftover parts. Not the highest quality but very easy to move around due to it's lightweight and easily able to double stack shoes on the shelves without any problem. Will add a picture of the spare parts when I have a chance.Pretty sturdy and water resistant, so it will be so easy to keep clean. My husband has a lot of tall boots and this is perfect to accommodate shoes for him, our teenage son and myself. They both wear size 12.5 wides and there's plenty of roomBefore and afterTook awhile to put together but worth it and sturdyI love the space and the taller gaps for boots. This holds all of our shoes and sits in the entry way of our house so it’s nice enough to display. I don’t love the plastic frame as it isn’t quite straight but it is still nice for the buy and has been the only affordable option I’ve found so far! Have had it for a few months and it holds up well!
